Business Minds 2024 Competition – Company Level Finals

The Company Level Finals of the NTPC Business Minds 2024 Competition was conducted on 18th June and 19th June, 2024, through the online mode in association with AIMA.

The results of the Finals was announced in the Closing Session of the Competition by Shri C Kumar, Executive Director (HR), and Sh. Anil Kumar Jadli, Chief General Manager (HR) & Director(HR) designate. Senior Officials from AIMA and NTPC were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri C Kumar, Executive Director (HR), stated that the participation in the Competition this year was extremely encouraging. He explained to the participants how Competitions like Business Minds are important considering the fast-changing business scenario of NTPC. He exhorted all the participants to continue participating in such Competitions considering the good takeaways and learning involved in such Competitions! He wished all the teams which had qualified (on the basis of their performance in Business Minds 2024 Competition) for the National Management Games (NMG) to be conducted by AIMA!

Sh. Anil Kumar Jadli, Chief General Manager (HR) & Director(HR) designate, in his address stated that “Innovation & Learning” is one of the Core Values of NTPC and the Business Minds Competition is a good example of using an innovative format to develop future leaders because the business simulation based competition offers a realistic and immersive learning experience. He encouraged the participants to make learning a habit and leverage all opportunities being provided by NTPC through its Learning & Development framework! He stated that NTPC was committed to the growth and development of its employees!

Shri Neeraj Kapoor, Director, AIMA and Shri Prem Chand, GM(HR-COE), also addressed the participants.

Teams from NTPC Auraiya and CC-Scope/EOC have emerged as Company Level Winners, with teams from Talcher Kaniha and Vallur securing the second place in this year’s competition.

These four teams along with Twelve other teams securing the Top 8 positions in each Group will represent NTPC and participate in the Regional Competition of the National Management Games to be conducted by AIMA.
